Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Milwaukee is in Wisconsin, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Milwaukee follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My took my niece here for her 18th birthday and we had a marvelous time! Our host was so informative. The kitties were playful and fun and were definitely food Motivated!

First time visiting and it was great! The dine-in area itself has limited seating but was filled with a section of cat products (treats, dry food, toys, etc). All of the cats were adorable and different in personalities. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating when my friend asked to add vanilla syrup to her drink. Would totally come again!

First time visiting and I definitely recommend! It was located in a cute little neighborhood with plenty of street parking outside. They offer special discount days, which we took full advantage of when we booked our reservation. You can also be a walk-in if they have availability. Although they said there weren't many cats out, we actually counted at least 8 of them. Depending on adoptions, they may have more or less. Just remember they are cats, and they like to do their own thing, especially napping. Some are a little feisty too, and they do let you know which ones. Totally fine by me, I just like supporting rescues and watching the babies do their thing. The coffee was really good and they have lots of merch to check out. I bought a really cute Meowaukee sticker. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Super cute cafe with all kinds of toys, treats, and gifts perfect for the cat/cat lover in your life! And of course, the kitties were amazing! We got to see at least 7 kitties, and appreciated the different opportunities provided to interact with them (toys, different seating levels, etc). You can tell how much everyone there cares for and respects each cat as an individual. Can’t wait to visit again!

Cat cafes are wonderful because cats are wonderful. There were fewer cats than I expected - four kittens in an enclosure (which was open so we could play with and pet them but they couldn't run free and get lost) and maybe 5 or 6 free roaming cats in the room, of which at least one was a shop cat and another one was hiding in a cube the entire time (understandable, buddy). Compared to the old location, this new one has a smaller cat room and seems more focused on the "café" aspect.
